Kelowna to Cranbrook

After spending 4 days with friends in Kelowna we went to Johnny's in Grand Forks and then on to Cranbrook.  It is not hot and it is not raining; perfect riding conditions with very little traffic!

It was a short ride to Oliver, 120 km with a detour to ride the hill out of osoyoos.....just gotta do it!!
We met up with Jamie and Wendy at the Bel Air Cedar resort poolside for happy afternoon, celebrating our Anniversary!

dinner on the town whoopee, then off to Kelowna tomorrow.
458 kms and a record was set...first time in 18 years I led from the ferry to Hope! Yup you got it right, Al was behind me the entire time! Along with his new friend Dave from Denman Island.
We stopped at the Blue Moose cafe in Hope for a pick me up and then off to Princeton.  The ride was amazing thru Manning Park with only one car passing us.  The horsepower twins danced side by side cornering gracefully at 120.
We stayed at our usual place and went to the old Santos restaurant which is now the Little Creek Side Grill which is definitely one of the best.
My martini was a Pornstar!!

2015 - Big Valley Jamboree

Road Trip

We are packing the bikes with the bare necessities for three weeks on the road....a few tools, rain gear, not that we will be needing that. Shorts, jeans, flip flops and bathing suits are the essentials for this trip.  The first day is always a boring grind, getting to the ferry, the freeway to Hope and then the Evergreen Motel in Princeton.  One of our favorite stops!
